Its not what u leave behind but what u gain in the days ahead

Sounds familiar? I passed by these banners as I made my way towards the parade ground together with Auntie Doris, Grandpa and Grandma. It has been a real long time since I spoke to Auntie Doris and it was a good opportunity to catch up. And through my conversation with Sam's grandpa, who was a Warrant Officer 1 in the past, I did learn some new stuff too.

I have now progressed to become a professional photographer! I charge double for every good shot or every shot with the main star captured. I can even capture Samuel as he did the march-pass!! :P

From afar, the 4 companies - Bronco, Cougar, Falcon and Hawk seem like tiny green ants. But when I went down with Auntie Doris to capture her putting on her son's cap, the tiny green ants seemed to be tall, dark, tough boys turn men. Maybe there really is truth in my friend's comment: You can really tell the difference between those guys that have gone through NS and those that have not. There is this certain look in their eyes which says "I've been through tough times before."

Though as small as this parade might seem, there is this certain sense of pride and honor in this. And I really want to apologize for not being able to attend your commission parade. (you know who you are) I am really honored to have been invited and I'm so proud of you both :)
